May 13-15th:  Canoeing

A canoeing trip, possibly down the Delaware river, led by E. Breitling

May 24th Awards dinner

Location, Cullens Memorial time 630pm to 9pm (changed since last update)

June 17th 19th  Caving + Troop Elections

An upstate NY  caving trip lead by J. Woloszynski

July 16-17th: Service Project/recruitment (previously known as the Über trip)

A trip to prepare newly joined scouts for summer camp, and expose them to scout skills.

July 9-10th library book sale

Troop 70 fund raiser

July 30th- Aug. 6th: Summer Camp

A trip to Summer camp for a week for the scouts to earn merit badges and camp.

September 9-11th: Backpacking

Fall Backpacking lead by R. Taylor

September 20th: Court of Honor

An award ceremony for the scouts to receive merit badges from the last six months.

September/October: Camp Sikorsky

TBD date where scouts go to Sikorsky for a weekend and earn merit badges.

October 14th-16th: Scatacook District Camporee

A weekend where the scouts from different troops in the Scatacook district compete in events and bond with a campfire.

October 25th: Halloween Party

A recruiting party on the theme of Halloween.

November 11th-13th: Rock Climbing/Shooting

A trip to Sequassen for rock climbing and shooting.

December 9th-11th: Winter Camping

A trip to wherever there’s snow for some winter camping.

December 13th: Caroling

A visit to Masonicare in lieu of a meeting for some caroling.

December 20th: Troop Christmas Party

A party where the scouts get to relax before the holiday season at Cullens.
